I'm buying a house with 2.5 acres, 2 sides of the lot are already fenced, but was thinking about an invisible fence for the other 2 sides of the lot. Anyone installed this and how much did you pay for your size lot?

Invisible fences will only keep out invisible intruders. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683785.gif

i dunno how much it costs to install, but the collars are like $400!

would that be invisible money?

how do those work, the dog wears a collar and it shocks them when they leave? Or does it just emit a sound? I know you have to train the dog so it knows to return to the yard.

My dogs would prolly just take off running if it shocked them lol

the collar, gets tripped. They use 14 guage wire, some use 182hd wire that puts out the signal when the dog gets to that wire--its its ass!Simple as hell to do it yourself.

you train the dog by zapping it on purpose, you put flags along the property and the dog will fear the property line.

Larger or faster dogs will run right through it because it only zaps them for a limited range, then they are home free.
