your going to need a bigger compressor to run that new spray gun, unless thats a 30 gallon tank I cant see

Actually it was more than enough and did a great job on the hood we painted. Had another compressor that couldn't keep up though.

hood would be fine, it would be the continued operation that would be a problem.......again I always think boats and sometimes forget how much easier it is to spray cars

Ah...yeah I can see where doing a 60ft boat would be an issue. That smaller compressor was ok to test with before I got started, but you really had to do short burst or you lost pressure. I could spray the hood in normal burst and never miss a beat. It was really cool to get the clear coat on and have something that was shiny and matched the car it went on.
