heard the last rx-8 is the 2011. im stoked about an rx-9 but im going to miss the 8, she was a good time.a

It would appear that Mazda has halted production of the rotary engine.

Honestly I think it was the car, not the motor. I never really understood what market the RX-8 was going for. It's a sporty sedan, that barely seats 4. It's not good at being a sports car and it's not good at being a sedan.

"Mazda Motor Corp. said Friday that the latest edition of the Mazda RX-8 will go on sale Nov. 24, targeting sales of 1,000 vehicles, but will end production in June 2012."
