It was a PRV engine.. Puegot, Renault, Volvo.
And to whomever said it was a piece of ****.. long after your car rusts and sits crumbling in a junkyard the Delorean will be running in mint condition. I thought it was a great idea to make a stainless steel car.. they'd last frigging forever. No buying a new car every 10 years.. keep replacing the engine and it'd last 50..

well, I guess they make money relying on the fact that we have to replace our car every 10 years... [/quote]
it's called planned/scheduled obseletion.
Our entire society works on the fact that manufacturers plan there items on becoming obsolete so they can sell you a new better version.
Like the george foreman grill, it's on like version 50 of that damn thing.
if you make one car last forever no one will ever buy a car again and the industry dive bombs.

Is there anywhere I can actually see pics of his cars?
I heard he has a twin-turbo, billet aluminum V12 in a Ferrari GTO, but I haven't seen anything to back that up...
Of course, he was the one who said it...in an interview with /.
