Have you ever just sat there with your piston car just imagining you have a rotary? Call me insane, i know i've made posts out of control on just about the same topic but just about all i can think about is rotaries and having one. I draw rotors and housings all over my paper all day at school. I can't read about supras for mroe than 10 minutes before i get bored yet i can sit here all day. I don't know. I wanna mod my Supra but money on that is money that could go toward a rotary.

I really like ridin in my car and hearing the loud whine if my engine.. instead of that lumpy rough sound the boingers make..

My inline 6 is one of the smoothest sounding engines i've ever heard.

Cuz you don't have a rotary.. some boingers may sound smooth... but they do not have the distinct rotary sound.. My brother has a lancruiser with the damn inline 6 too.. i think it is also a 2jz.. anyway.. it is smooth.. but does not have that jet like sound to it.. I get WOOD just thinking about it..!!!

****, I do that every day. On the bus too.

My boinger is a motorcycle, so I enjoy the rumble, and the vibration feedback I get from the bike. And it's nice being able to hear every distinct "glug glug glug" from the engine. By the way, my 7's exhaust sounds like ass, so that's why I currently prefer the voice of the bike.

And I love the simplicity of the rotory, pure genious. But I can't help marvel at how someone can take all the moving parts of a piston engine and make them all work together, correctly.

yeah ssame thing here. I am amazed a scared of how so many parts work continously together in a piston engine. To tell u the truth im scared of pistons. Rotaries are much more simpler, sound sweeter and are just hot. They do get u upset when something goes wrong and no mechanic will work on your car. But hey more money saved if u do it ureself and u will be one of the lucky few who understands the true genius of a rotary combustion engine.

Pistons um ya make good paper weights...

yes the rotary. I used to be a piston guy..but I was converted...I just love the idea of 3 moving parts on the inside...so simple so sweet soooo easy to make power, and nothing to rob you of it.

Are you kidding? Drawing rotors is all I do in calculus!

Hmmm.. well whilst I've been bored waiting for my RX-8, I've been pretending my G40 is a rotary. Lol. Just had a few tweeks done which pushes the redline to 8000 rpm, so its starting to run like one too :p

Watch this clip - a mate said they thought it sounded like a rotary as well!
