At least the wife isnt sleeping with your bro. Thats really all that matters. The worst thing that could happen in your case is the unit will go out the window! And no Jerry Springer show invites.

it blocks the sensor on the electronics, so I have to open the doors or go all the way to one side to get the remotes to work

Ah-HAH! Mine does that only when the door is halfway opened...somehow it goes through the glass just fine, but not when it gets refracted.



Sounds like a science fair project...haha.

its just one of those stupid things that aggrevate you when you are getting all comfortable to relax and watch tv, then BAM- the remotes dont work right and then some house guest crashes the cable box on top of that



I have glass doors, but wood on either side, the wood is too much and it blocks the IR

so if you pull the electronics to the edge of the shelving where the wood is not blocking them it still doesnt work.
