little things aggrevate me at home when least expected, apparantly my new furniture was designed by a moron who didnt take into account that the remote control eye is usually to the left or the right of the unit, so only one of my remotes work anything- luckily the cable box remote

I cant get the remotes to work for the stereo, dvd, vcr, cd recorder, etc..

so now I faced the choice of either new furniture again, or getting some huge jumbo sized RF remote that I would have to learn and program and hope doesnt break, or what I did- got a remote IR emitter

so tonight cost me $87 so I can work my remotes without waving my hands in circles pressing buttons to get **** to work

We have a little thing that is about 3/4" tall by 2.5" wide that recieves the infrared signal and sends it to little things that are taped to the infrared recievers on the individual components. All of our stereo and video equipment are in a closet. only thing you can see is the TV and subwoofer. speakers are in wall...

the little thing works great, but I can't remember what its called...

Buy a kid and send him to push the buttons when the buttons need to be pushed.

I ordered something like that, its a IR emitter, I had one before and I didnt actually tape it to the units, I sat it in front of them and ran the wire underneath, the eye can just sit under the tv somewhere its tiny
