If Absinthe was "safe" youd be able to drink as much of it as you want without any harmful side affects.
Please spare me from this "a little bit wont kill you" bullshit. Because in the long run, there is always side affects. That little bit picks at your nervous system bit by bit, and at 80 years of age you wont have exactly the same memory as someone who hasnt used the stuff.

Alchohol kills brain cells at an alarming rate, so does marijuana (when you are high, pay attention if you can to how you are breathing, most of the time you are not) which causes the memory loss. Same thing happens when you goto sleep shitfaced.

Pot DOES NOT kill brain cells.. it kills White blood cells.. and the only reason that myth came about is because the supposed proper way to smoke cannabis is to hold it.. What happens when you hold your breath? No air circulates inside your lungs = no uptake /absorbtion of THC.. Hence the people holding their breath are depleting their brain of oxygen.. ~cues the brain cell frying sound~
