i seen eurotrip and someone told me the absinth that made them see things is real . as anyone ever tryed this befor ? if so how was it and is it worth the money ?

I didn't see anything. But I couldn't stand to try more than 2 in one night.
They don't put as much wormwood in as they used too. The stuff I bought was 66% alcohol. Tasted like a combination of Sambuca with something minty and BURNED all the way down. BTW, it's available in Canada now, as of last July. Only one brand, and it's 70% alcohol. |
Ive been wanting to try it. Looking for a good way to get my hands on a bottle.

they only make the original stuff in europe, the stuff you can get over here doesn't have wormwood in it, = no hallucinations

It's good stuff, just don't drink it straight!
I seem to recall Absinthe being the precursor to the French sugar cube. Oh, and don't expect the North American kind to get your party started... everyone will pretty much fall asleep! |

i recall an article in stuff or mazim or fhm a few months ago. it might've said something about different companies that will import it for you....

tried it last new year...... tasted horrible, and it was just alcohol, no halucscinations or anything
overrated imo |
