It was idling at 2K today when I drove it to work (T/O bearing is behaving again, but I am still going to replace it), but other than that, it runs great. I punched it in first at around 20mph and kicked the *** end out going in a straight line.

The 2K idle is probably something having to do with the fast idle cam, or maybe a stuck throttle cable.

The fast idle cam has to do with the coolant temp, right? I was thinking the leak might have something to do with that.

It's possible. You could try disabling the fast idle cam to see if it helps. You can see it done on a 3rd gen at http://www.rx7turboturbo.com/robrobinette/...ody_coolant.htm . You'll see your fast idle cam on the TB after you remove the intercooler.
