How many gallons do those fuel tanke fillers hold? I wouldn't be standing near that thing, if you were trying to stretch the frame with two trucks. That could end very badly.

we're allowed 10 gallons per pitstop, in those 5 gallon containers.
yea the frame streathing thing was kinda sketchy, we actually broke a tie strap right after that vid ended

Lucky it was just the tie strap, and not part of the frame, or a hook if they were using tow straps.

That's using a tow strap, and trying to yank them out. Bad bad idea.

There are some straps designed to "yank" the person out. However a running start of about five to seven feet is the most I would go. Not twenty feet like that guy did. He used a tow strap which has metal hooks on either end and isn't designed for "yanking" someone out. A recovery strap designed to yank out, has loops, no metal on it whatsoever, and will stretch and then contract to aid in pulling them out. I have watched people with chains try and "yank" someone out. But I was 100 ft away and calling them idiots.

i have the straps you're speaking of with the loops, and given the properties of rope, realistically i wouldnt go yanking anything with them either.
ive got a whole assortment of different things for the farm and none of them i would go yanking a truck with, including some straps that i've used to pull stuck tractors out with.
