i saw a couple of rx-8's last night here in college station, one pewter and one red. dang, those look good, so mean looking.

i saw the first drive by on university next to Northgate, the pewter one, and yelled out to every one "wow, a new rx-8, the first on i've seen on the road! look good."

i still like how they look, and they look even better at night.

the only reason it looks goofy is because the pillar by the rear hatch points almost towards the front of the car, unlike the fd's and all else, where they point towards the rear of the car. it creates a bigger blind spot but makes the car look more rounded, and most likely stronger.

reshape that rear pillar and it will sell... hell it would easily sell like that.

I dunno, Mazda shied away from the 3 rotor in the past due to its size and center of gravity impact (longer than a two rotor) . . I speculate a 15b two rotor supercharged beast based on Renesis side and center plates.

like that but also where the back window (hatch window) meets the pillar, the pillar should face the back of the car, not the front. "/" not like "\" the way it is now..
