Did you guy's ever think of using bike shocks? A lot of them have separate adjusting for compression and rebound, and the damper and spring rates woud be close to what youre looking for, or if you mount them inboard, thats not a problem. I'd imagine that even if they had to be resprung and/or revalved it would still cost less than that!. Just an idea (probably already thought of)

I was actually wondering whether they were, that's what made me think of bike shocks - maybe I should have checked it out before I posted, would have saved making an **** out of myself .
