I'm looking to buy an FC turbo, the guy says the engine is a cosmo engine, but it's got a single turbo, whats' the best way to check if it's actually a cosmo engine?

 

I thought Cosmos where twins..

 

Gessh huh get on mazdatrix maybe and see if they have a serial track or something maybe?Just a guess.

 

the cosmo engine needs special brackets to bolt in the car. it also has a different intake manifold, the 13bt one won't bolt up

all are right I bought a jc cosmo motor..13b-re...the easy way to know it look at the intake manifold..there will be open spaces between the runners and the top of the manifold will say in big black letter 13b-re twin sequencial turbo. or look on fc3s.org they have pics in the engine part of a 13bt 13b-rew, 13b-re, and 20b 3 rotor,
