What kinda of gas do you use?

I was reading something and read....

Unless driving a turbo - use the lowest to mid grade of fuel at a good

service station. Here in the Puyallup / Tacoma / Seattle area of Washington

state that means Texaco and Chevron. Both of these companies dedicate their

expertise in using the min. amount of oxygenate additives and add other

chemicals (like Textron) to help the additives burn. If using Supreme or hi

octane in a non turbo, the higher octane makes it more difficult to burn all

of the fuel allowing for excessive carbon. Turbo or supercharged cars need

the slower burning fuels to prevent pinging or knocking which is very hard

on the apex seals.

I use the cheap ****...87..cause right now in my area...is about $1.31-$1.35



When I go to the track ..or when I know im gonan go..I run the car down low..beofre i fill and I run 93 thinking it will help me ..BUT from what she is saying it will hurt an N/A engine...





Have any of you guys hear of this before?and what do you run?

kid runs 93 puts some 2stroke oil in at ever filling and injector cleaner too sometimes.

I use injector cleaner about once every 2 weeks..or once a month...



I get the **** free at the dealership I used to work at...and have a nice supply in my tool box..with the chemical that they run in your intake on a vacume line for the induction/intake service which they charge you $100. to do..



I have BG cans of it..I havent used that in a while..and yeah it works..to help burn the carbon..BUT you better be ready to replace or clean your plugs...



Im gonna invest some money and buy a air powered/spark plug sand blaster...

If you dont knwo what Im talking about..its a little tool/machine..that you hook up a air line too..and put your park plug in it on top..and it cleans the carbon off your plugs..this will save you lots of $$ and helps performance ..I used to do it about once a week when I worked at the dealership..BUT now I do it about once a month...



I run Mystery il in my gas..and yes its a mystery..I think it ***** my car up when I run low..it dont want to run right..I think it settles to the bottom ..and dont mix easy in the gas..

I use 93 religiosly on the T2. That with a quart of two-stroke every fillup.

Are you asking if you should add a two-stroke oil to your gasoline? That's what we are talking about. A TCW-3 two stroke oil added to your gasoline at a ratio of 1oz oil : 1gallon gas will ensure better lubrucation inside your rotor housings. The 2-stroke oil also burns cleaner, than regular oil.



Its your choice whether you want to or not. Its recommended but not required.

Id say most rotary owners use something in there gas (oil additive)

You use a QUART for every fillup? That's close to 2 oz./gallon. 1 oz./gallon is usually sufficient if you're running with no oil metering pump. If you're using the oil metering pump then you don't really need too much, maybe 4-5 oz./tank.
