That rumor is months old guys. We have hears rumors of 1.4 and 1.5l renesis style enginess since before the RX-8 came out. We can only hope they come through with a larger displacement Rotary.



BTW- FE is INDEED the chasis designation of the RX-8 and not the next gen 7 so if it does come back it would be the FF not the FE.

John, don't make me you. How could you use those words and a 7 in the same sentence?? Isn't that illegal.



And to whoever it was that wanted to know more about the press release. They were quoted as shooting for a 2000lbs. curb weight with 300 normally aspirated hp stock. I just don't see that curb weight being right with as obeese as that proposed body looks. But they mentioned they were going to get that hp by raising the displacement instead of using forced induction. That's about all I know, the rest of the specifics I have long since forgotten. I read that article about 4 or 5 months ago. Hope that helps to clarify the situation a little bit for you. Laterz.
