Power comes with a price.A big price. After my swap and everything I have done to mine.I have $3800 in to it now.About 6000 by spring.I need to get a clutch and flywheel this winter. And new paint too.

Too much

I'll just say, more than what I paid for the car.
same here, if I include the cost of this rebuild I've probably spent 3X the cost of the car ($2600) at this point.

ok don't tell me prices i don't wanna know :P

Well i figured while i have it apart i should take the 2mm apex's to 3, have the rotors conditioned, they may even need replacement i don't know yet, increase injector sizes, better intake filter, port and polish it, new radiator as opposed to the stock one thats in it, etc.

have you taken it apart yet? you have to carefully inspect the housings and such, just judging by the things you've said so far it looks like you're already going to break the bank... if you get new parts for your replacements. some of those radiators alone can get into the 500+ range if you go all aluminum.

Yea see heres the problem.

1) I work at burger king

2) I gotta pay my own insurance and stuff

yea i'm not whining such is life, heres the killer:

3) If i don't do this car by spring, hes ripping it to pieces and making it a SECCA Race car, which i don't want cuz everyone i know who drives and races knows i got an RX7 and can't wait for me to break it out...i am asking for christmas all money hehe. Time to open a paypal "donate to poor guy" fund haha.

yeah, on a burger king budget, you're probably better off with a f-body and spray, lots of spray.

if 1/4 mile time is what you're goin for that is.

Or a street ported Series 5 NA engine on the bottle.Direct port NOS would scream.
