well today i woke up and the streets were basically a solid block of ice. so i basically idled my way out of the driveway and as im puttering aslong a cavalier doing about 20-25mph is coming behind, so i pull over before he gets to me and watch as he continues going straight.

now that may seem okay but the road TURNED while he contninued goign straight, *SMACK* bye bye cavalier.

i continued puttering around, god forbid i press the gas pedal id slide sideways or simply pull a donut (ask the people outside the motel who witnessed that feat), and saw numerous more accident including a huge dumptruck, a schoolbus, and acura mdx, and plenty of stupid little FWD cars. so i approach the highway to get goin to school.

as i go up the onramp i witness a car speeding, spin and do a 180 so it is now facing backwards and sliding down the highway at high speeds, sure enough *CRASH*

i decided to take the next exit and come back home to keep my 7 safe .

so the point of this post?

simple, i just had the best soup ever, progresso chicken noodle, mmmmmmm.

Dont miss it one bit. Snow is fun to play in but hell to live in.

I knew a guy that would drive his snowmobile to work on mornings like that. He would drive it right down the street. His wife would come get him at the end of the day with a pickup truck to get it home.

It was cold here this morning 50° when I left the house. Its about 75° now. I love it down here.

**** that, those who crash in the snow do so for idiotic reasons, if they arent driving like idiots then all they will do is maybe slide into a snow bank.

but msot of the people have the dumbass SUVs with 4wd think "hey i got 4wd i can go as fast as i want in the snow" not realizing that just cause they have grip in the snow while driving doesnt mean they'll be able to stop any sooner. i hate idiotic SUV owners, when i had an suv i at least drove smart when i needed to.

everyone i saw who crashed (except the dumptruck, thats just cause the road banked and his truck just slid, nothing he could do) basically deserved to crash. you DONT drive 25mph on a block of ice, its just retarded to do so. especially where i live, when you gotta go somewhere you're either going uphill or downhill, and they're both steep grades so that makes these people even more idiotic.

oh and jim, curse you and your 75 degrees. its 25 degrees here, wait lemme double check now that the sun is shining more, ok it is now 29 degrees.

this is probably the first time my 7 has ever seen snow, it lived in cali and tex its whole life until now lol.

i only like snow when i have a decent snow vehicle. my durango was a BEAST in the snow, last year we had blizzards that would bring snow to the middle of my durango's doors, all i had to do was hop in, turn it on, and mash the gas to get upp my downhill driveway, it wouldnt slip at ALL in 4wd. i dont miss that truck tho.
