Do you run a bodyshop or something? You have been installing a bunch of stuff. Cool.

That's pretty fast, especially you are on the East Coast!

The forum system running now apparently has some quirk that post random attachments to various posts.

Can't wait to get my bumper/accessories.

Chuck or anyone that have installed aftermarket bumper, how do you remove the aluminum brackets? I am trying to test fit the bumper but having a hard time removing the stock brackets. The studs that holds the bumper to the fenders are attached to the bracket that runs along the whole stock bumper. Do I need to remove all 13 rivets? How do I remove it without damaging the bracket? Tried drilling thru it but still won't pop loose.

When mounting the top part of the bumper to the frame, do I still use the metal bracket or do I sandwhich the new bumper between the old bracket to the frame?

Thanks!

Rivets have to be drilled to be removed. You will have to you some elbow grease to get them seperate. Then redrill holes and add the new rivets.

you are using the wrong size drill bit if your having that hard a time drilling out the rivets, if you drill them right you dont have to redrill holes either, you can use the same holes with the same size rivets.

find the proper bit, dont redrill.
