For the first time since I got married, upper middle income, no kids, own the house so no tax break for loan interest, we got some money coming back to us. Not a lot but, damn, after paying 1400 last year after I paid almost 9500 in fed taxes, getting back 700 is nice

Tim:

At least someone is getting $ back....and it's being put to really good use. Probably is some of the money I'm paying them- so at least I know it's not going to fund some 500 dollar toilet seat purchased by some moron in the Pentagon.

You mean this thing is actally going to come off? Someone had one of Chuck's other diffusers (the Pro model) for sale on the other forum, but nothing looks like the original piece.

Good question, Mazda Mike.

Chuck, can you do a semi-gloss black gel coat? Given where the diffuser is situated, it will get chipped-up pretty good if it 's painted.

I don't think it's hacked up diffuser that Chuck is looking at. It's one that's been modified to fit the guys cat-back. What would be nice is to see what cat-back it is so we'd know if we are going to have to cut ours any if Chuck uses a brand new one as a mold. I think it's more than likely been cut to allow some catback muffler to fit without touching and melting the fiberglass. If that's the case, then I wouldn't mind it being used as a mold since it will already be cut to fit most cat-back without us hacking it up ourselves.

Let me explain myself a little better. There is that gentleman willing to lend the diffuser but his has been modified to fit with his exhaust sytem. So I will have to see if I will be able to modify it back to the original shape. I have not received any photos from him so I don't know if it's possible at this time.

If it can't be put back to the original shape, I will need to import one from Japan. If there are 10 buyers, the diffuser will be shipped from Japan by ocean freight. If we have more than 15 buyers, I can use the extra money to have the diffuser shipped from Japan by air to speed up the process.

Regardless, you are not going to get a all hacked up diffuser. I am just trying to finish it as soon as I can. If you want me to make a mold from a brand new diffuser, I will do as you request. Prepaid buyers please post your preferrence.

The diffuser will be made with glossy black gel coat. You can leave it the way it is or you can paint it just like any bodykit pieces.

Thank you.

Previously you stated you only needed 7 buyers to import a new one from Japan... BTW as soon as my IRS refund is posted in my account, I will paypal the deposit.
