MR2 forum just hosted a group buy on the innovative Wideband for 324 USD shipped. Regular price is 389 + shipping.

You get all necessary cable, plus the o2 sensor itself.

You will also have the ability to datalog 44 minutes worth of data for 6 difference channel via an optional box.

-linearlized output so u can directly hook it up to your existing A/F gauge

-or you can opt for their LCD remote display.

The unit calibrates the sensor with respect to the free air, or hte conenctration of oxygen in normal air.

for people who are unfamiliar with the innovative wideband see this:

Tuneyourengine.com

the next leading competing setups are:

-Techedge Wideband version 2.0 which is still heavy into delvopment however is released.

-AEM wideband.

-FJO wideband

I'm sure all the people on this forum understand the importance of tunning properly.

Ok here is the deal, the $324.00 price is cost to me, you whatever. So basically, it doesn't really require my involvement at all since there is no profit in it and I don't need to take the orders, now I am going to clarify this, but I think each person can call them, say they are on the Nopistons.com GroupBuy and when they get 10 people they will ship. Like I say I am waiting for clarification on this, here is the email reply I got:

5+

$334.00 (Savings of $15.00)

Free UPS Ground Shipping Included (Savings of $10.00)

Total Savings of $25.00!

10+

$324.00 (Savings of $25.00)

Free UPS Ground Shipping Included (Savings of $10.00)

Total Savings of $35.00!

**These are per unit prices. I will need to have a total number of units and payments for all units before the shipping begins. Money orders and credit cards are accepted. If paying buy credit card the following info is needed:

-Name

-Credit Card Number & Expiration Date

-Billing Address for the credit card you are using

-Shipping Address

-Phone number you can be reached at

Let me know what you think.

Thanks!!!

OK i'm not too sure how this is going to work out.

But i can put down 3 units myself. But they have to goto canada.

So if we get two more people from the states maybe the person who is from the states (phins) could get them all shipped to his place and then redistrubuted that way.

Ofcourse phins needs to take some money off of all of us but i'm more then willing to pay if he (you) can accomedate.

I'll try to spread the word out.

Before I buy this WB unit, I would like feedback as to how it compares to the best WB's?

Yeah, if its a decent unit....count me in.

Does it use the OEM Honda sensor like the others do?

it uses two types of sensors. Your choice

NTK L1H1 (Honda sensor) roughly 150 USD from dealer

Borsh LSU4 (VW turbo charged cars) roughly 30 USD.

Both are equally accurate, each has it's own draw backs.

Honda is more accurate during rich conditions but are very sensitive to slight temperature changes

VW is less acurate at very rich conditions, but it not much sensitive to temperature chaanges.

However both are sensitive to the pressure of the exhaust gases caused by turbos.

You will need to mount the sensor at the end of the downpipe for 2 reasons.

1.) pressure od exhaust gases

2.) On rotary engines particularly turbo ones the EGT is high. The O2 sensor is modulated by the control module for around 850. Some EGT may get close or exceeding 850, therefore the readings will not be accuate when the o2 sensor is outisde it's operating range.

so how many do we have?

3 going to canada.

+ 93R1?

who else?
