I never got that email.

NM, I see which one you are talking about, that's not the 1 million dollar credit monitoring thing they spoke about. That's just go to the credit reporting places and get a credit report.

Yeah, exactly. That's the only info I've been directly contacted about.

It will be interesting to see what the long term effects of this are. This has got to be hard on the game makers. Mortal Kombat and Socom 4 (ps3 exclusive) release the week they went down, I don't know what games have been released since then, but the ps3 only titles are going to hurt big time.

I think it's awesome for the Portal guys, haha. That's a great game without online play, and it just released.

I mean it's great, even without online play, not that it doesn't have the online option.

The thing is online play really builds momentum for a video game. I switched to Socom 4, let's say I love it, I tell all my buddy's "Guys socom 4 rocks, you gotta get it so we can start playing online again" The clans, scoring ladders all of that horseshit builds momentum for a game. When game manufacturers come out with a game they want to build momentum out of the box as they know it will diminish over time. ALL of that momentum is completely gone for any game releasing while PSN is down. It's a really big blow to exclusive games, if not a death blow, it will be interesting to see what happens with SOCOM 4. I really liked the game and for the 2 hours that I was able to play online I really enjoyed the online play, but if it ends up getting lost in the mess, it could ruin the game!

Dang even the faithful are losing the faith!!!!

Yea that's the link to the story about it, but if it's going to do us any good we should have already received information on how to activate. If you don't have it quickly after something like this it's useless.
