Ok, so one suggestion that has been tossed around a bit is the Gen Specific For sale areas with a postable general for sale section.

Another suggestion that has been made is a retro expansion, meaning we include pre-rx-7 models as we nopistons.com, not "just" an rx7 forum and we have already added the rx8 and the Repu.

Give me some feedback on both of these areas and we'll go from there.

Thanks!

how bout changing the haltech maps forum name to something more generic, ECU maps for example. It just seems odd to have a Haltech-specific map forum but not motec, microtech, electromotive or others. Something thats always bothered me.

sweet

sorry I have no other suggestions, other than maybe a way to do member feedback, like if you buy something from phinsup and he ships quickly etc, i mean a transaction that basically went through the forum... you should be able to say hey phinsup is good and phinsup would have a rating under his avatar showing the avg of feedback from members. (good/bad, like ebay)

...drift discussion should be a sub category under motorsports

...20b forum placed under engine swaps

...northeast rotary association under northeast

have always wondered why these are on their own..

the general for sale sounds like a good idea..

as far as the pre-rotaries.. always figured the other rotary powered section already covered that..

If we devide the For Sale sections into Gen. Specific ones, I think we might achieve some good. For one, people usually view the forum in the default thread view (25 threads per page) so sometimes when some people start posting like crazy, ones thread can easily dissapear into the other page that people might not check.

So, if we split the sections up like Dave always bitches about doing LOL, it might cut down on lost threads since there won't be 10 or 15 ads for the FD and FC in one section, they'll be in seperate ones so older threads would stick around.

It's more moderatng for me, but that's what I'm here for.

Srce makes good sense, and I agree with him. Often times I have to go through 2 pages of posts, which is common in the other forum sections. I think the separate gen classifieds is a good idea.

I don't know the major differences between the pre-rx 7 rotaries, so I wouldn't know how valid separate forums would be.
