I'm new to the forum, HI~~

My wife and I are interested in purchasing a Second Generation RX-7 Convertible.

Are there certain things we should look out for??

Is there a place that sells RX-7 parts at a good price??

Or a dealership??

Any info would truly be appreciated.

Thanks!!!

Well, I priced hatchback lift cylinders at nearly $200 at the dealer, so the dealer is probably not best for parts. Quality yes, but price no. There's a BEAUTIFUL second gen convertible for sale in my apt. complex. . It's red with a black canvas top. Pretty clean looking, although I have only seen it briefly. I can get the info for it if you want, and maybe some pics. I'm in Tampa, FL. I don't live here, just here for a few weeks,,,,BB

one problem on the second gen was the front ecentric nut would brake. This would lead to spring losening and loss of oil.

I think this happens around 85,000miles.

You may contact member JudgeIto for confirmation or Shannan McMasters at Import Motorsports out of Plano. actually he moved to the Motorsports Ranch. Its a new race track out of Dallas.
