Jay, just don't allow the people who fucked up the venue spot last time to come back. With that done, maybe you can go back to the last spot and ask the owners to rent the space again with the notion that the past won't repeat itself.

It's worth a shot I think.
It is a city owned property and we were shutdown/ banned by the police!!!

ok all this talk about the "********" that got everybody banned is begining to **** me off. first off scre, you werent there, you're not from here so get the **** outta this thread.

secondly, if it was inappropriate for ppl to make noise and drive crazy then it could have been easily stopped if things were handled diffrently. where i come from car enthusiasts, espically rotorheads are a loud sometimes obnoxious group. when planning a gathering of such ppl these things should be taken into consideration. in no way am i saying that its ok for ppl to disrespect the organizers by doing whatever they want. im just saying that the organizers should have kinda knew that ppl were gonna get a lil loud.

the posts by rob x7 and a few others that i feel were directed solely at me are unwaranted. the machine gunning that you referd to was my car rob, but if you watched the events that went on prior to that there was no indication that it would be inappropriate. before i made any noise with my car voskos drift friends decided to have a dfift session at the entrance to the lot to the delight of many, including me. i didnt see vosko or jay complain once about any of the drifting or burnouts. no one told the guys to stop. im sure they would have respected vosko and jay's wishes if one of them had simply said "hey stop doing that"

after the drift thing died down, several first and second gen cars started revving thier motors having a lil revving competition. again, no one complained or looked to be offended by this so i let go on for a few more minutes before i decided to start my car and "shut it down". i mentioned to vosko that i was gonna 'show them what a real exaust sounds like' before i started revving. vosko never said "no dont do that" i admit that vosko came over to me afterward and said it was too loud. as soon as he told me that i turned the car off. the burnouts and drifting continued with no complaints from either of the organizers.

basically everyone was just having a good time and unfortunately overlooked the implied behavior restrictions because of our location. i think the organizers even overlooked this in the middle of all the action.

for the record the cops didnt come till looong after all the noise and burnouts were over. i was the first person to speak to the cops. they said they had complaints of ppl hanging out in the lot. (NOT ABOUT NOISE OR BURNOUTS) i told them we had a permit, they said there was no permit issued (a lie) i told the cop we were leaving in 5 mins and they left. 15 mins later a diffrent cop returned being a dick saying that the permit expired an hour ago (another lie) i got vosko and let him talk to the cops.

so all the comments about ******** ruining it are bullshit because everybody was having a good time, nobody did anything in disrespect or against the wishes of the organizers. its unfortunate that we were banned and im sorry that it happened, but nobody was being ********, and those of you who think ppl were, are just prudes.

Roan

I wasnt referring to the noise, I was talking about the donuts, burnouts,

and the fast zig zag driving thru the place.

Rotorheads are loud people- fine, I guess we can go thru this

every year. It wasnt one single thing that got them banned, im sure

it was everything plus the fact they dont want to be bothered with

gay golfers complaining.

I dont think Tobay will be willing to rent out in the middle of summer

the Porsche thing happens while its still cool out, I forget the month

I went this past year, I remember wearing a jacket and luckily

it was really mild that day.

And I dont recall one car at Tobay doing donuts in the parkinglot.

The roads from LI-NJ are bad, lol- welcome to our world!

Just for the record, The cops never made any complaints about noise, nor any of the shotgun blasts, this has nothing to do with you Roan. When the cops came they specifically stated that there were many cars, speeding through town, racing each other at stoplights, ect.

It had nothing to do with anything that happened at the BBQ. There were no complaints about anything involving the BBQ itself. If it did I would say exactly who caused the problem, but honestly I don't know cuz I was'nt on the streets when all this happend, I was still at the BBQ .

thats what im talking about, who cares about noise, its the crazy

lack of respect driving that did it in.

I doubt you could hear noise THAT far away.

Well first of all, I don't have to get outta this thread. Second, I never called anyone an *******. Third, wheather I was there or not doesn't matter, I heard what happened and never reffered to the noise, only the erratic driving.

Maybe you can be a bit forth coming next time you address me and not tell me to get out of a thread. You have no bussines telling anyone ****, so relax and read before you respond.
