Hello fellow rotorheads,

I have not had much success, nor has Vosko in securing a site to hold Rotorfest this year. As most of you know we were banned from our usual spot, due to the few people that thought doing burnouts everywhere was cool.

Basically I am looking for a large open area that can be rented. The owners must know that it is for a car show, there will be a DJ, and food vendors.

If you work at a large office possibly, or happen to know someone or some where, please contact me ASAP with any info you have.

I would estimate anywhere in a 50 mile radius from Giants stadium would be a central spot for the majority of people that attend.

Thanks to all

Jay

Ok people, Ito has connections at Island Dragway, so he is going to contact them this week and see what he can do.

I have spoken on the Phone to the Director of Operations at quite a large facility in NJ. We can def. have it there if need be, so all hope is not lost. The site is in the pic below. Obviously we won't get the whole place, but I can get us as much space as we need!

I liek the idea of having it at a parkway rest stop...it will also be really easy to get there too, but I don't know about all of the details

Dude, Rotorfest has, and allways will be a East Coast event. Why the hell would I want to have an event nowhere remotly close to where I live, and furthermore, what about all the eastcoast people that attend every year???

It's not like it won't happen, it's just a little more complicated this year due to the people that ucked up our usual spot

We have more rotary powered vehicles on the east coast than the entire USA!

island dragway is the best bet...just sucks that the road leading into it is not paved...
