If a 20b is the same thing as a 13b, but with an extra rotar, that means if I have 2 13b's i can build a 3 or maybe even a 4 rotor motor?

Ill just run it on an stand alone ecu of some type?

OR AM I JUST CRAZY :smirk:

12a = 1.2 liters

13b = 1.3 liters

20b = 2.0 liters

i hope im right, please feel free to correct me if im wrong.

Yea, the 3 rotor and 4 rotor motors have been done before.. I guess you could make one yourself.. but alot of things come into play. The main thing that comes to mind is housing, but not sure..

If you have to ask. what these engines are, you shouldn't even think about building one.

There are a substantial amount of things you will need to fabricate to get this to work. Its not as easy as stacking rotor housings. You are also going to have to use a 20b eccentric shaft or if you make a 4 rotor one will have to be fabricated.

To do a 20b swap RIGHT it will cost you anywhere from $10,000 to $40,000.

A four rotor can easily pass the $100,000 mark.

Yep.. you're probably better off with a 2nd gen engine..

13b 3 rotor engines are used in Austrailia but you need to start with getting a custom e-shaft then take it from there.The hitman uses a 13b 3 rotor race engine in his.Just do a search on the Hitman.His first gen rocks.

Im almost certain that it will not cost me 10 000 or 40 000.(ue a bit crazy) But the 2 engins will cost not even 1000$.So ill go with a motec for about what 1500$. Then all that is left is custom fbrs...

Instead of going and see mazda speed to ask for sumtin custum ill just go see my freindly neighborhood machinest..

I don't even need to put labour into this, because ill do everything myself.(mountin the engine dat is.) The only bitch dat comes to mind is the essentric shaft(which i think i can track one down from a cosmo),and the............... A think dat's it.

True a 13b 3 rotor won't cost that much.But did you look at the link I posted?You need some 12a parts and a custom E-Shaft.I wouldn't be trusting a nieghborhood machinest to build a e-shaft.I would get one of those proven to run ones sent up from austrailia.They're dollars are worth about the same amount as our cdn$ are.Just read the build-up before you blow money on something that might not last long.A machinest I would trust building the lower intake and turbo manifold.but no a critical part like a e-shaft.Then you still need the upper intake from a 20B if you stay inject which is your best bet seeing as a carb setup for that engine is worth more than efi.Then you also need custom mounts and a standalone system. can we say..... :bigok:
