If I could cover the engine, front mount, PFC, and all the rest of the stuff to get it going with 4K, then that is very reasonable for me. Please tell me I'm not dreaming if I think that that might work. All I want is a TII with a REW. LOL

I'd say that if he adds another $1-2K to that figure he should be ok, as long as he does everything on his own and makes a few parts. [/quote]

so in reality

nope

There are alot of cars on this forum that were taken apart with good intentions, but they will probably never run again. That's my warning to Srce.

Jim you mentioned that you might be interested in making intercooler piping to fit the TII better. I know that you said the piping is for a 13brew motor but that it will fit into the TII and is made from Greddy piping. What I was wondering is how well the pipe to the throttle body fits? Does it touch the brake master cylinder? I have the Greddy 2 row V-spec on my 90TII and the pipe to the throttle body is pushing on the resevior for my brake master cylinder. I don't like this at all. I would like to fix it or replace it with a better fitting pipe if I can get one. Can you show me a pic of yours? If I like it I would be very interested in buying one from you.

you have to cut that pipe shorter, so it doesnt stick out so far, or angle it way up like turborotor

I was going to say the same thing. All you need to do is take off the section of elbow where it turn 90° to go into the throtle body. Cut that down some and you'll have your clearance.

I am having a hell of a time finding someone to make me some custom piping. We might just order a bunch of small sections and weld them to order.

Please tell me how droping an fd motor in an fc costs more than buying an fd????? I'm really confused.. How much was the custom cradle? Can an fc front cover/waterpump fit on an fd motor?

It cost alot because he went with the Motech and the HKS turbo kit. That had to add at least $6000 to the cost. The front cover will go on, but I think that the FD front cover uses one extra bolt. So you would have to do some minor modifications to get it to work right. You'll also have to get the CAS gears, etc. to work, as well as make sure that the oil pan bolts line up.
