anyone try a LS1 swap into a RX8? or heard of 1 for that matter? maybe a V6 of some sort?

Has any one heard of putting a JDM 13b Twin Turbo into a RX-8. I have been trying to boost my RX-8 Renesis motor but only have gotten to 10 or 12 pounds before having problems. Im working with Pettit Racing to put 92 rotors in my rensesis to lower the compression but, Will getting a rx-7 motor work better in the RX-8 they have the same bolt pattern. So in theory it should bolt in with only the ecu being the onnly thing to be a pain to install. Has any one heard of doing anything like this?

 

There's already 20B-REWs and 13B-REWs swapped into it. I'm just sitting on a perfectly good FD engine that just needs a rebuild (higher mileage) and am looking for something to do with it.

does anyone know how to boost a Ren motor over 10pounds of boost? I still cant find anyone to make rotors or do something about it..

i have been working with Pettit Racing and everytime they get over 10 they blow a hole threw the rotor. Any fixs on this? I heard about some kind of coating that can make the rotors stronger.. can this be true i dont think it can but i can be wrong...

why do you want to run more than 10psi? im running 10psi and its awesome. not in an 8, though.
