It's a double standard. It's okay to put rotaries in anything, it's just not right to take them OUT and replace them with a piston motor.
Isnt it funny how these things work?
So, if I took a Porsche Carrera, and swapped in a VW Beetle engine. I would like to see your guys "double standard" in effect!

Would you "at least try" and do a hack job like the 7MGTE too?

the whole double standard is that all of these retards rejoice when they see a rotary going in a car originally equipped with a piston engine, but scream sacrilege when a piston engine is put in a rotary powered car.

your argument is like taking a fd, and putting in a 12a.

id do it

if i had a 12a available and a welder to fab mounts, and an fd with a blown engine

people look at the car and assume they really had to go out of their way to make something, some people have connections here and there and they can build something that seems drastic without hardly spending a dime

I just had a brief chat with the owner of this car

He had connections at his local honda supplier, he got the engine and transmission for an excellent cost, and he was building a race car

the engine does spin in the proper direction, he fabricated transmission and engine mounts, and had a custom driveshaft designed and balanced.

it uses OEM engine controls, and handles like a dream, and gives newer and more powerful vehicles than the S4 TII FC3S a run for their money.

All while being N/A.

If you can't respect the clean install and functionality of this swap, then you need some time to think outside the box and experience what it takes to do design and fab with a goal in mind.

There's no huge secret to sticking a different engine in a car, the main objection I see people having is if they think the new engine is better that what was there - the question is what makes a better engine than a rotary?

Really? Even if the 12a makes more power than the stock FD? Even if the beetle made more power than than the Carrera?

Your proving my point..

But to go out of your way to find a motor and trans to put in an RX is a waste of money, time, and resources.
