I'm not sure why the center ports are being used here... kinda interesting, I haven't ever seen that. I don't see it adding any low end unless you are keeping the PP's closed somehow. You could maybe recover some low end if you put some PP butterflys low (close to the engine) in the manifold. Kinda like the Toyota TVIS system. That's exactly what they did.



A PP probably wouldn't be great for a daily driver... unless you have a 6:1 rear end with the stock Mazda gearing... and drove just a few miles.



Because you'd want to be in the upper RPM range all the time and couldn't afford to drive it more than a couple of miles.
