Tools-



Engine Hoist

54mm(?) Socket for Flywheel Nut

Flywheel Stopper

Breaker Bar



Engine Parts-

(that should be changed while installing a new engine)



fuel injector grommets

complete engine gasket kit

fuel filter

spark plugs





Stuff to send out-

fuel injectors to be cleaned and flow tested

polish any and everything(not necessary but looks nice)



anyone else please post anything you think is a good idea to do while swapping your engine

I don't know much about engine swaps.. but should we make this a sticky?

motor mounts will most likely need to be replaced. at a minimum, the rear one.



check the harness, and make sure that it is in proper condition.



upgrade the pump, trust me, you'll need it soon.



new clutch, especially if you have a lot of miles.....



vacuum hose, zip ties, and angled hose pliers....



there are plenty more....

-a case of 24...

-a friend with lots of tools and patience

-a working car to run down to the local canadian tire (or autozone) for more parts and tools

-a cordless phone to call people for help... ie where the hell does this little hose go?

-and lots of bright light so u can see!
