What about the FD engine does that use the same plugs as the s5?

spark plugs? yes

harness is different, but some of the connectors are the same

I ment as far as ecu connection like can i get the FD engine and harness and ecu and use my dash harness plug?

you have to move a couple of pins around but the actual connector is the same

can anyone get there hands on a wiring diagram for any off those dash harnesses. i would like to know the exact differnces.

I thought a new wiring harness' from mazda was over a grand!

it depends on what harness you buy. the engine/emissions harnesses are around $500. the one that does the whole car is usually $1500ish
