S5 Rotors and Rotor Housings Compatibility
#1
Are S5 rotors and rotor housings interchangeable between the N/A and Turbo engines? And while I'm asking, how about with the S4 and even an FD? I know S4 rotors are heavier, so the counter weights need to be changed out, but I do not know about the housings. As for an FD, I have no clue if an of these parts can be interchanged. Thanks.

turbo s5 and s6 rotors are the same
turbo s4 rotors cant be put into later engines without changing cw
turbo rotor housings Can be used in n/a engine
n/a rotor housings Can be used in Turbo engines ONLY if the exhaust port diffuser is removed and port is enlarged.
you would not use s4 irons for an s5 because they are weaker
you Cannot use anything for s6 engines other than s6 irons because the engine mounts on s6 engines are different then all earlier engines
lesson over.

Thanks for the info. It will definitely help me out.

To add to this for my knowledge... how about the irons? Are the S5 turbo irons, compatible with a N/A and vise versa? I'm assuming the intake port size is probably different for one of them, but not sure. Still new to the rotary world! Thanks.
