My stand

Nice!!!

I wanted to get a stand, but I thought it wouldn't work w/o the adapter. I guess the adapter lets you mount it vertically which is good if you are doing rebuild or whatever.

with the turn of the handle, this stand will turn the engine anyway you want. Vertical, horizontal any 360 degree.

It might even be the same stand, Snap On, Matco, and Mac tools all sell other manufactures stuff and they just re-label it.

I would have to agree. They are identical.

Like thier buffing machines and spray guns, I remember a guy I worked with bought a Snap On buffer, it was a Black and Decker Buffmaster re-tagged.

Some stupid little hand tools I buy from the tool guys are the same ones sold in local auto parts stores, for example, I had to buy a new inspection/registration sticker scraper, I got it from the Snap On guy, meanwhile this weekend I go to The local Carquest auto parts store and they have the identical one for half the cost, oh well, live and learn.

At least with the tool guys you can pay stuff off and get the tool right away!

I'm currently in the process of removing my 12a, but keeping the tranny in, has anyone had experience with doing it this way? I had it all unbolted ready to go (or so I thought) then realized it wasn't parting from the tranny. I've left it till tomorrow, but I think its because of 2 bolts within the torque converter. They seem like they are going to be really hard to get to as well. Behind that big metal cog.

Any ideas? Previous exp? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif
