are the counter weights different for different years?

i have a 1985 12a

will a 1990 13b auto trans counter weight fit my engine?

im not using the fly wheel.

this is for a conversion

i need a counter weight from an auto that fits my crank

to attach the modified flywheel to.

You got it now. It all depends with what kind of rotors you have. Counterweights are matched to specific rotor years.
