A Better Tread Just A Question

I seen a harley davidson engine in a Nissan 200SX(I think). It was that 1200cc V-Twin they put in the big bikes, 120HP or some such. It looked awesome and I heard it had bad pickup though. It was more or less just for show. But a bike motor in an RX-7? Not only is that alot of work, you'd have to rev the bitch out of it to get any pick up at all. A bike weighs 750 pounds, not 2200 pounds. And they dont make any power until like 7 or 8000RPM. At least my Ninja doesn't.

I guess you could use it. I just saw a show on speed that had stock car style cars using a bike engine to power them.
the new R1 weighs only 379 lbs dry..Yamaha claims 180 possible hp out of the new engine, at 12k+rpm.

well i ask this for the 1st gen cuz i know the car is light pluss it will be modded to be alot more light and the car has excellent aerodynamics, so thats a good start pluss the final gear ratio on the transmission will be lowered for better pick up
