There is a guy here in oklahoma that put a 2whatever supra engine in a FD. it looks tons better than that yellow one, but it still sucks. he can't get any traction from what I understand. Hum sounds familiar to most supras. The pictures of it were up on www.ok-speed.com

A local dude and our neighborhood speed-shop are putting together a big single 2jz/FD.
It's a perfect swap imo. Strong internals right from the factory, huge aftermarket support, phenominal horsepower potential, and unlike the LS1 it sounds amazing. The only downside is..... well, ****. There isn't one. I'll see if I can get some pictures. |
So did this thing ever get done or what?

My bro has a 1JZ-GTE that he wants to put in an FC.
1JZ-GTE = 2.5L Twin-Turbo Inline 6. Found in the Toyota Soarer (Lexus SC300) Boredom, I suppose. He's about to finish putting in a built RB25DET into his Datsun 240Z. The motor's already built to handle well over 400hp. lol I'll stick to my rotary. 13B-REW is fun for now. 20B if I ever strike gold. :P |
