read some where that the viper motor in its own chassis is so long that the gas ,barake and clutch are slightly off kilter .They make you sit a liitle crooked ..your legs go to the left..MY $.02...an RX7 without a rotary in it is not an RX7 anymore..but hay, that's just me..and we are all men doin manly things!!!Tim Allen/Frankenstein Style!...the viper motor that was in one of the Dodge trucks (drove it)..piece of crap!wonder though with less weight..woohoo!

Actually, the pedals in the viper are off to the left side because the engine is so long.

And the SRT10 truck is the slowest 500 hp thing you will ever see. No weight on the rear wheels while having enough torque to make a semi blush is a recipe for wheelspin. Not to mention the curb weight is 5500 lbs. Half of the Mercedes AMG line will run circles around that truck.

**** that. It's a pickup - it has 90% of the weight on the front wheels, there's no way one of those is "fast" on any form of circuit by any means.

It's funny you talk all this **** like you know, but have you actually done this swap before?

No so shut the **** up.

I know of lots of fast vipers so who is to say that it wont be fast in an rx7?

The best of both worlds, the rx7 styling and the v10.

IMO its what mazda shoudl have done from the factory.

I drove a SRT-10 pickup, I was VERY unimpressed, it was also a 4 door which I would imagine is the heaviest one out there, it also sounds like **** even with a aftermarket exaust
