Red face

What it probably is, is that there counting everything. ie: R&D, fabrication of exotic custom parts, production costs, labor for the whole teams man hrs, everything...

Were so used to doing everything ourselves I think we forget how much time and money goes into one of these projects.

I met JD a few years ago at VIR when he brought 3-4 of the Crocotile cars out there... really nice guy.

As fas as the Ianetti 1pc 3mm ceramic seals they use in them.... i just sold a set a few months ago. They are EXPENSIVE!

I have built my own 4 rotor and it is installed into a 3rd gen Mazda RX7.It is much cheaper than Mazdas and uses a custom eccentric shaft.

I will have to take some pics and put it up for everyone to see.I will see if I can get a vid too.Only running 2 55mm dcoe carbs at first but will go injection and turbo later on.I am running Iannetti ceramic seals too,1 piece, get them from Iannetti direct as an engine builder.I cannot rate them enough, they are very, very good.Have used them in many engine's now.

Regards

Carl

You can build a 13B based 4 rotor for about $15k in parts. Theres a few in Austraila I know of, and quite a few 13B based 3 rotors there as well. Hitman has a 13B based 3 rotor in one of his 1st gens, and the same company that makes that ecc shaft alsmo makes the 4 rotor one.

How much power would one of there 4 rotor E-shafts handle??? If I had the money to dump into building one, it would definatly have the mother of all snails attached at the hip!
