swaping a fd motor in a maxda rx3. i have motor and trans mounted with stock twins and made a downpipe work.. in process of making front mount and custom oil cooler and radiator setup. i want to use the stock ecu because i want to keep it all stock. with the motor set i got i noticed there is a empty spot on ecu plug.. like maybee on the fd chasis there is a plug that goes into the ecu ? also i dont have the ignitor i been seeing around on websites and forums in pictures. how does the ignitor connect to engine harness? i dont see any plugs for it.. does it connect through chassis ? and if so how do i wire that .. i was basically wanting to know how i can wire my fd ecu/harness so i can get car runing like a fd would. switch power, constant, fuel pump relay wire.. things of that nature. i have searched hi and low and everyone just goes stand alone.. i know somone has had to do the wiring to get this running with stock ecu and wiring.. thanks

The ignitor is on the chasis harness. You will have to make your own plug for it. Your better off running a power fc, you can delete alot of things, clean up the motor, ditch the omp, emission, plus it doesn't have a limp mode.

You know there is a FSM that is available online for the FD. Great resource if you do not already have one. Do a search I am sure that it is in the 3rd gen section.

In that you will find great schematics for exactly what you are looking for. Let me know if you do not find it.
