my friend wanted to do this to his ae86. is there any specific reason why u want a rotary instead of any of the many piston engines that can be placed in it?

i like the rotory and all the swaps equal about the same work and all of the 4ages are very out dated if i was to swap anything it would be a 13b or 3sgte and the 3sge is custom every thing

Personally, I think you'd be better off using a 4AGZE, but ditch the super charger for a turbo. But if you really want a 13B, then you'll need the to make some engine and gearbox mounts and a custom drive shaft. Basically the same stuff that you'd need to do swap in a 3S or any other custom 4cl. Realisically you'll need a decent diff upgrade as well. It's all very do-able though with a bit of time and money.

I have of that 20B Haichi....it is f$#kin insane! He rolls it on at about 100k/h and it just disappears! 13Bt would be an interesting swap.

uh....the 3sgte was the toyota mr2 turbo engine in ALL countires it was released in...... sw20 is just the chassis code, not a japanese specific mr2 model
