13b(i Think?) In To Samurai
#11
I saw the car, just drove by havent looked at it yet, and I looked at some pics on here and I am 99% sure that its a first gen with a 12a in it, so that should make it allot easyer
You guys know of any trannys that will bolt to it that are shorter then the RX-7 tranny or trannys that will adapt to it?

Last year at a dragtrack here, there was a yellow Samurai with a rotary swap (not sure which engine, I couldn't find it after) and he kept winding it up to very high rpm's, and the entire way down the 1/4 he didnt even get out of 2nd... it was definitely cool. Not so much fast, but cool.

I have an 88 zuk and can get ahold of a 89 RX-7 with a 13B(right?) and am wanting to put it into my samurai. I was wondering if any body here knows of a writeup? I was also wondering what adapters there are, I am keeping the 4wd no matter what because I am building this into a rock crawler, I was hoping that there was an adapter to mate the rotory to a toyota tranny because I am useing toyota dual transfercases and I would like to if I could not use a divorced setup because it would end up pretty long in a little sami, Iwas also wondering how complicated the wiring would be for this motor? (the samurai has pretty much bare minimum even with the little computer.
Thanks
