the f10 software doesn't run right on the laptops i've tried, characters are either missing or distorted. anyone got any ideas on how to remedy this?

if the f10 software is like the e6k dos software, try making a DOS boot floppy and put the software executable on it. Reboot using the floppy for the operating system, running it in native DOS should make it happy.

i tried that method, same result unfortunately. i found a laptop slow enough running windows 98 the f10 software seems to like so hopefully she'll be running this week....hopefully
