ok some of you know about my on goin battle with AEM australia the makers of Wolf 3d. well i finnaly got my ver 4.0 back from australia after almost 6 mounths of them having it lost . well i got it back 3 mounths ago now and installed it all and was set to fire the car but i got busy doin other things so i didnt. anyways a week or so ago i tried again to fire the car to no availe. no spark to very erratic spark. ( lil inside info the reason i sent the comp out to australia was some how a chip failed in the ecu wich blanked the map and the result was a $6000 motor was lost) anyways the chip that was replace had something to do with the igniton system so i thought great the comp aint fix.
well tonight i had some time and i needed to be cheered up so i desided i was goin to work on my fc. i changed plugs as it was a freash motor and i figure there fould. i pull the plugs crank the motor over for what had to have been an acumulative 5 minutes with the fuel pump turned off( 0 fuel presure) to clear out all the gas and assembly lube from the housings. pop the new plugs back in. still no fuel pump and cranked the car. whap whap whap whap the ****** started, the auto meter tach wich is always read correct is now bouncing from 7500 to over 9k and here is the kicker i have 0 rpm reading on the wolf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
how the **** can this thing be reading no rpm yet still run, rev. i must have a wire crossed some place but damn i think i let the car run for about 10 min off and on with no fuel presure , the fuel pump is unplugged, and no rpm signal. thing even revs crisp. i have not hooked up the lap top to see what the scales are reading yet but im baffled to this point. anyone wanna field this one?

the car ran for a total of 15 minutes off an on as i did not want to over heat the motor as there is no water in the system. 15min of run time just on the fuel that was flooded in the motor and in the fuel rails. i finally got the car to not start then pluged the fuel pump back in and it flooded out right away. can you say tuning needed lol. got to love being able to play with stuff on the fly ya know.
