I recently spoke to Bryan at Rotorsports Racing and he mentioned they are going to use RX8 coils on a project car. Apparently they are very small in size and only cost $50 a pop new.

I would use a proven MSD coil instead. The MSD Blaster SS coil is very small in size, but very powerful and durable.

Also- They are $48.20 each on THIS WEBSITE!!

i looked at the rx8 coils for the 20b, and went with the ls1 coils instead. they were about $2 cheaper (36 instead of 38) and we know they work, plus they have a built in ignitor.

what do you wanna know? they do take an odd plug wire, nobody makes one over 6-8" long so mounting the coils is inflexible
