ok guys i have a 91 na GTU and and all the stuff to do a motor swap including the the s5 turbo tranny,halfshafts and diff. Now i plan on running a haltech to get rid of the stock ECU and the crap(sensor,relays) under the hood. Im looking on getting a E6X or E6K..... I believe there a kit i for the haltech where i can get all there stuff at once or do i have to keep some of the stock senors and things (All in all i want to run a straight stand alone no mas or nothing).. And say i do get the haltech wired in is there a default program so i can drive the car around or will i have to get it tuned before i can even drive the thing up the block??????

 

You'll have to tune before driving it or atleast get a map that closely matches your setup. Also There are kits that come with the basic sensors youll need for it to work.
