Some Questions For You Guys
#1
Well ok I read the Haltech install @ his site and I'm confused on how-to wire the fuel pump I want to use the stock relays etc, but its talking about rewiring all the 4 wires on the fuel pump, and which one goes to the haltech???? Wtf?
"Wiring the rest of the system is easy , and I will cover it shortly. All that is basically needed is to follow the instructions in the manual. The only slightly confusing point for most people is the wiring of the fuel pump relay. In fact it is already wired and relayed. The two orange wires that you have to connect are very simple to do. One of them ( any one ) goes to the battery +ve terminal as it must have constant 12V , and the other orange wire goes to your fuel pump +ve. The other terminal on your fuel pump goes to earth.
You will also have a thick Red and a thick Black wire. These will go direct to the battery with the Red going to the Positive + side and the Black going to the Negative - side. There is also a grey wire that should go to a 12V source that is switched by the ignition key. A good place is where the ignition coils get their power."
There is only 1 red wire on the fuel pump connection so this goes to the haltech or to the battery? I was under the impression that I keep all the stock **** and just tap the wire from the haltech into the red wire. I have one of the 2 wires that goto the fuel pump wire to the battery.
About the Turbo Timer, I have the harness wired into the ignition column, and then the instruction say the other 3 wires go:
gray wire to ebrak-i haven't looked into this, but how does that connect?
black wire to ecu? ah yea to ecu ok wtf?
white wire to ecu, again wtf? WHERE?
and which ones plugs into the green wire on my haltech, the one that is reserved for a TT???
