Just wonder... it may be one of those things thats great on RX7's and imports. But never heard of it in the mustang world... well guess I will look around to see if anything like that is in the mustang world...

But other than RPM extenders computer chips and cobra computers and add on ignitions not much else is there. Any of the parts to replace the stock computer just use a computer to modify all the settings....

I'm sure that alot of people are using standalone ECU's on Mustangs. My friend told me about a quad turbo V8 that was using an Electromotive TEC II. It was a Chevy motor. I think that the Link system is used a bit for V8's. The Haltech E6K is used by Eddie Bello on his 911. There's no reason why it couldn't do just as well on a V8.

Imagine being able to change your ECU without pulling chips. Imagine being able put any injector that fits under your fuel rail. Imagine being able to tweak fuel/timing from a laptop. Imagine being able to add aux injectors for a turbo/supercharger or aux items such as Nitrous (DRY SYSTEM), Shiftlight, etc. Just about anything you can think up....

Imagine no more... the HALTECH does exactly this.

If you plan on alot of future modifications then a standalone ECU will do a much better job than stock.

wow i just noticed it uses all GM connectors and sensors (so if any sensor goes bad i can get them really cheap for anybody who needs them) that means i can put all that **** together at work

Hi Vosko,

I thought I'd send you a pic of my E6K just before I installed it. I know what is like when you first finally get it. I got mine from Rotary Performance and couldn't get it to inject fuel. Arturo of Chile(my hero!!) modified a "Hitman" map for me and it started right up(after two weeks of dinking with it!) I had the fuel system apart over 10 times thinking it wasn't the Haltech and/or maps!
