how much power would a stock fd be good for with about 25k on a rebuild and a good pfc tune done by someone good (ie. steve kan)?

well with a pfc you can riase the boost, so maybe 20-30more just by itself

what about all the other stuff you could do with it, like timing and stuff like that. and if the boost was increased would it make it less reliable?

the factory has the car running crazy rich and has stock boost falling off near redline. the pfc can hold boost longer, and its not as rich as stock.



stock ecu is rich enough to do a dp and midpipe on 87octane!



if you fill it with 91-93 it should be happy a tad leaner

PowerFC as delivered ran fine at 15psi with 94 octane!

you mean I could run my grand national up to 15lbs?



the car runs good right now and gives me full 10 at 32k in 5th gear can't imagine 15...

That's what I had it set at on the Niagara cruise! You probably noticed it was still running a little rich.
